Here we select whether the media to be loaded in the RJ-6000 Series printer

will be standard media or thin media.

• If you are unable to judge whether the media to be used is

standard media or thin media, you should do the "Media Feed"

as shown on page 67 before printing. At that time, check

whether the media is catching or wrinkling.

With the hold lever up, press the [MEDIA WEIGHT] key. If the media to be

loaded is standard media, light up standard media. If the media to be loaded

is thin media, light up thin media.

For thin media For standard media

• Be careful. A paper jam will be caused and the head may be

damaged if thin media is loaded in the printer and thin media is

not selected at the panel.

• If you are using media other than media specified by Mutoh in

the "List of Optional and Supply Items" on page 106, if thin

media is loaded, thin media must be specified at the panel.
