Although your printer was adjusted for optimum quality at the time of ship-

ment, the printing quality may vary according to the type of media. In such

cases, an accuracy adjustment plot can be made with the following procedure.

• Unless you understand this function fully, there is a risk that

the fine adjustment may make the quality even worse.

Normally, no adjustment should be made.

Step 1

With an A3 or larger sheet of media

loaded vertically,press the [Fine adjust-

ment] key (CLEANING, MenuUp key)

while you are pressing the [Shift] key.

Step 2

The accuracy adjustment plot is print-

ed automatically.

Move to Step 3 when the accuracy

adjustment plot is finished.
