2.4. INSTALLATION OF ROLL MEDIA ONTO THE SCROLLER

RECEIVER

The procedure for installation of roll media onto the scroller receiver is explained below.

Notes :

• You can attach roll media with a 2 inch (outer diameter: 103 mm or smaller; weight

maximum 30 kg) or 3 inch media tube (outer diameter: 150 mm or smaller; weight

maximum 30 kg) to your printer. Please note that for the 87” model only a 3”

scroller is available.

To attach roll media, follow the steps below.

Caution :

• When setting roll media, place it on top of a desk or other flat surface.

• Position the roll media in such way that finally, the printing side will be “upside” in

the printer.

• Setting roll media with the scroller standing up may damage them.

Step 1 : Slide and remove the movable flange from the scroller.

Step 2 : When using roll media with a media tube diameter of 2 inches, remove the movable flange and

the fixed flange adapter.
